Fri 24 Dec Early afternoon arrival in Frankfurt and transfer by coach to Baden-Baden (approx 1.5 hours). Check in at the 4-star deluxe Heliopark Bad Hotel zum Hirsch, in the centre of the city and 10 minutes walk to the Festspielhaus. Welcome dinner in the hotel.

Sat 25 Dec This morning you have the opportunity to attend Christmas morning mass in a local church, before joining your guide for a morning tour celebrating the rich heritage of famous musicians in Baden-Baden. We see many of the notable sights of the city along the way. Christmas lunch in a local restaurant. Free afternoon before the evening performance at the Festspielhaus.

Sun 26 Dec Today we take a full-day excursion to the Black Forest, via the panoramic route. We continue to the old university town of Freiburg. Lunch is included during the tour. Return to Baden-Baden for the evening at leisure.

Mon 27 Dec Free day to make your own choice of activity in this stunning town. Evening performance at the Festspielhaus.

Tue 28 Dec This morning we return to the Festspielhaus for a guided backstage tour of Germany’s largest opera and concert house. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure before the evening ballet gala performance.

Wed 29 Dec Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping and sightseeing. Lunchtime transfer to Frankfurt for your homeward journey.
