Join us to celebrate Reveillon with the Paris Opéra Ballet this year. Rudolf Nureyev’s classic production of Casse Noisette is joined by three short works of the Ballet Russes on New Year’s Eve, for a special gala in the sumptous Palais Garnier. There is also the option to see Jean-Philippe Rameau’s comic baroque opera Platée.


Tue 29 Dec Lunchtime arrival in Paris and transfer to the 4-star Hotel Bedford, just a short walk from the Palais Garnier in the heart of the Opéra district and a favourite of Travel for the Arts for many years. Evening performance at the Opéra Bastille.

Wed 30 Dec This morning take a guided tour of the Opéra district and finish with a backstage tour of the Palais Garnier. Lunch in a local restaurant before a free afternoon. In the evening transfer to the optional performance at the Palais Garnier.

Thu 31 Dec New Year’s Eve daytime at leisure to make your own choice of Paris’s many museums and attractions. In the evening we attend the New Year’s Eve Gala performance at the Palais Garnier, followed by a New Year’s Eve dinner in a local restaurant.

Fri 1 Jan Morning free for last minute shopping or sightseeing. Afternoon transfer to Gare du Nord for your homeward journey on Eurostar.
