OPERATIC ODYSSEY IN MILAN
Duomo c.ENIT-Vito Arcomano
An autumn break to the cosmopolitan city of Milan takes in two highlights of the new season at Teatro alla Scala; L’elisir d’amore and Carmen. Laurent Pelly’s production of Donizetti’s sparkling masterpiece features Irina Lungu and Francesco Demuro as Adina and Nemorino, while Gustavo Dudamel conducts Bizet’s tale of passion and tragedy. Milan’s sumptuous Teatro alla Scala and the vibrant city of Milan itself provide the perfect backdrop.
