Waltraud Meier in Geneva

20 - 22 June 2012

Dusk over Lake Geneva
A mid-week break in the vibrant Swiss city of Geneva offers the chance to hear world-famous German mezzo-soprano Waltraud Meier in recital. Ms Meier’s repertoire includes many Wagnerian roles, as well as Strauss, Verdi, Berlioz and Beethoven. We also attend a performance of Verdi’s Macbeth, directed by Christof Loy and conducted by Ingo Metzmacher. A new destination for Travel for the Arts, but one that we hope will prove popular.
